Everyone did such a great job finding the scavenger hunt items and taking some awesome pictures! We hope that all of our participants had a great time and made some great memories. 2011 SPL All Ages Scavenger Hunt

Welcome to the 2011  Sewickley Public Library All-Ages Scavenger Hunt!


What you’ll need:

  • Digital camera, or a camera phone that can send pictures, or a regular camera and weekly access to a scanner (the library has a scanner available for public use)
  • Flickr.com account–once you have a flickr account, join SPL’s Scavenger Hunt Group Pool http://www.flickr.com/groups/splscavengerhunt/
  • A Team (1-4 people)
  • At least one person on your team who is 12 years old or older
  • Sign your team up here!

What you’ll need to do each week:

  • Every Friday, beginning June 8, an item will be posted on this blog.
  • You will have all summer to find and take a picture of that item.  One of your team members must be visible in the picture!
  • After taking the picture, upload the photo to SPL’s Scavenger Hunt Group Pool on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/splscavengerhunt/).
  • Photos must be uploaded by Monday, August 8th @ 11:59PM
  • The last item you need to find will be posted on August 1.  You will have until August 8 to post your pictures!

What you’ll win:

  • The team with the most correct submissions will win a night out at Dependable Drive-In (Moon Township)!
